Priscilla Beccari voyage dans des cultures anciennes jusqu’à l’Antiquité pour revisiter les archétypes des représentations du corps et les symboles qui leur sont associés. Ses mises en scène d’objets, ainsi que dessins et peintures, relèvent de l’écriture chorégraphique. Les corps ou fragments de corps se font les signes ou indices composant, tel un rébus, les récits invisibles de l’inconscient collectif.

Priscilla Beccari travels through ancient cultures, even back to Antiquity, to revisit the archetypes of representations of the body and the symbols associated with them. Her arrangements of objects, as well as drawings and paintings, fall under choreographic writing. Bodies or body fragments become signs or clues that, like a rebus, form the invisible narratives of the collective unconscious.
